Callback
Callback - a call from the modem pool to the User’s modem, upon his phone request. Callback service is mostly convenient for Subscriber’s of digital phone stations in the view of economy. Connection setting: The user sets the connection in the following format: in the field “Username” he enters final number of the Subscriber; colon, login; in the field “Password” enters password correspondent to login; in the field “Phone number” it is necessary to enter one of the modem pools supporting callback service ( at present moment this service is supported by four modem pools 1127000, 1127077, 1449310, 1386000 and 3617777
Example: User having login - vasya_ivanov , password - 24sa45mm, dialing from the city number 123456 (phone numbers) and willing to use callback service sets the connection with the following parameters:
User name - 123456:vasya_ivanov Password: 24sa45mm (shown in asterisk) Dialup number: 1127000, 1127077, 1386000, 1449310, 3617777
2. Link connection setup In case of successful call to the modem pool with settings stated in point 1 there will be username and password verification and momentary DISCONNECTION. Approximately in 10-15 minutes there will be back call from the modem pool. User’s modem responds and sets usual connection (two blinking computers in the right lower corner).
Notes: - Callback service is provided only within the capital; - Phone number cannot be less than 6 or 7 symbols; - If there wasn’t back call, in 10-15 seconds after the first request, the repeated call shall be made; - Successful setting of connection by means of callback is guaranteed upon work with users operation systems of Microsoft family. Only some versions of Windows 95 can fail to work well together with callback ( in this case it is necessary to set “Remote LAN access” update.
